With more than 25 years in ministry, Matt began in youth ministry before serving by teaching and preaching at the Tulsa Church of God. Ordained in 2016, he served as Co-Pastor and now leads the congregation as Senior Pastor of Tulsa Church of God, an independent Sabbath-keeping fellowship. Together with his wife Renee, he is currently interning at Plumbline Ministries of Tulsa Oklahoma, growing in the vital skills of pastoral counseling.

For the past six years, Matt and Renee have served as Festival Coordinators for an independent Feast of Tabernacles site hosted by the Tulsa Church—originally in Branson, Missouri, and for the last three years in beautiful Fairfield Bay, Arkansas.
Outside of ministry, Matt has enjoyed a 35-year career in Information Technology, holding senior leadership roles and owning a successful MSP firm for eight years. Since 2020 he has built a thriving business providing offshore back-office services to engineering firms across the U.S.

Born in Liverpool England, Matt moved to the Tulsa area in 1996 when he married Renee. He and his family have made their home in the area ever since. Matt and Renee have been married for over 30 years and have twin sons, Benjamin and Joseph.

Curtis Whiteley is a lifelong member of the Tulsa Church of God. With a background in both education and ministry, he has spent many years serving in public schools as a teacher and administrator. He has taught high school history, including AP World History, as well as a course exploring the biblical narrative and its impact on the development of Western civilization. He has also served as both an assistant principal and principal, striving to lead with integrity and a heart for others.

Curtis holds degrees in marketing from Tulsa Community College and Northeastern State University, along with a Master’s in Ministry from Temple Baptist Seminary and a Master of Divinity in Theological Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. He also earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from Oklahoma State University.

At Tulsa Church of God, Curtis regularly teaches and speaks, sharing messages and occasional seminars aimed at making biblical and theological understanding accessible and meaningful. He is especially passionate about equipping others to grow in their faith and deepen their understanding of Scripture.

Curtis and his wife, Katy, live in Bixby, Oklahoma, with their three children, Asher, Addison, and Everett.
