Youth Ministry

It goes without saying the youth are the future, they are the future of any society and they are the future of every family and every church. Without the youth our communities would grow old and pass away. Without new children being born family lines end. And without young people picking up the mantle of truth, faith, love and ministry a church will become just another empty building in a community that is losing hope.

But even more than that the scriptures tells us in Psalms 127:3 that children are a blessing from the Lord. That they are a heritage and a reward. And to us as parents, grandparents, aunt’s and uncles they are just precious and priceless. And because of this we want them to know and receive the love that we have for them and the love that God has for them. We want them to be armed with truth. We want them to be strengthened by faith and we want them to have a deep and personal relationship with God. Because we know that this is the only way that they will be able to navigate the dangerous world outside of the home and the church.

So this is why we have a Sabbath School program, this is why we have classes for all ages from 4 to 19 years of age. So we can feed into them, teach them from the Word of God and most of all delight in them as the children of God.

We have lessons and materials that are age appropriate. Lessons that encourage our youth to participate in class, in our church family as a whole and we hope be an example in the world around them.

In 1 John 3:1-2 this wise and loving Apostle says this:

“Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.”

We are all the children of God, we are all his heritage and his reward. This is why we teach our children to know him and to make him known.
